Walk in the light of the Lord
“The Law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Come, O house of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord. (Isaiah 2:3b-5)
The Law will go out from Zion - the law will be once again established among the people of God, the word will be spoken from Jerusalem. No longer will His people reject His teaching and discipline.
Beating their swords into plowshares, and spears into pruning hooks - the Lord bring peace to His people, instead of waging wars against one another now we are working together with the plowshares and pruning hooks. From war to work, Elohim God intends to put us back to the garden where His first and original plan was carried before sin entered. Elohim God wants to empower us to again get back on our feet, walking in the light as He is in the light.
As a church leader, I can’t emphasize more on the notion of relational ministry; it’s the bottom line and principle of my philosophy to serving the Kingdom of God. Never again will I sacrifice relationship over the success of ministry (maybe in business I would...ha). In serving the Kingdom of God, we need to "beat our swords into plowshares and our pruning hooks", no more competing with one another or seeking any recognitions but working together for the sake of the land. Thus Elohim God will shine His light as we come together.
True relationship brings forth security, which embraces vulnerability. - Jack
